I think I have started and stopped writing this first "baby blog" post about six times now. It feels like so much pressure to somehow pick up where I left off in March! I had intended to use this blog to update everyone on Noah and how the new family was doing. Well, here we are, 11 weeks later, and I'm just now getting around to it. It's been on my mental "to-do" list for months now, but the time just kept getting away from me. I can't imagine what it was that was so important... I mean, Noah only needs to eat every other hour. What have I been doing with all of my free time? Diaper changes? Naps? Play time? Bath time? Hmm....wait a minute...you mean there IS no such thing as "free time" once you become a parent? Ah, yes. That explains it. :-)
Anyhow, Noah is doing great! Joel and I love being his Mom and Dad! We are so lucky to have such a cute and healthy little boy! Our "little bug" is growing like a weed, too. He's such a big boy! At his 2 month check up, he was 15 pounds 6 ounces and 25 inches long. That puts him in the 95th percentile for his height and for his weight. Yowzers!
Noah loves to laugh, smile, and 'talk' with us. We spend a lot of time 'chatting' back and forth. He's quite a smiley baby and loves to giggle and coo. We even managed to capture his first laughs on video!
We have a number of videos we would love to share with everyone from our first few days as a family, but we'll save those for another post. Here is one from a recent conversation Noah and Mama had.
(Sadly, the A's didn't beat the Giants after all.)
Hey, nice baby blog! Noah is such a ham! I love it! xoxo
